For our staff and field positions, it is our goal the interview process is short and focused on showcasing the full job, setting expectations and describing where an entry job can lead. In the Home Office, the process combines electronic application, phone screen and a series of in person interviews depending on the role. In all ways, we are looking for the right energy, attitude and understand we can train for skill.

We are growing our footprint across the country and there are exciting programs in Marketing, Talent Acquisition and Integration, but our Training programs have struggled to keep up and find support that is scalable to our growth.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Mister Car Wash?
There are some legacy ways of seeing our company and doing things that can slow down the momentum toward the type of company we are becoming. There are minds that need to be open, visions that need to be expanded and some leaders that are struggling to understand our new size, where we are headed and what that means in terms of communication and process strategy.

Our CEO is a thought leader and challenger. Some people may find his style difficult, but he absolutely pushes us to find the best solution and move outside of what we used to do. Additionally, he is dedicated to our front line staff and that carries through to all of us.

We work hard, but absolutely push our employees to take the time they need - PTO is provided to be used!
How does Mister Car Wash make decisions around promotions?
Promotions are based on performance and ability to showcase leadership qualities. In the field we have started to create internal avenues to apply for our Manager Training programs.
How's the vacation policy at Mister Car Wash?
All employees, from part time entry level and up receive PTO day 1. For salaried Home Office and Regional/Divisional field personnel, we have an open PTO policy in which they take time as needed and it is paid. There is no PTO bank or tracking.
