He served as the Executive Chairman and Executive Director of Esso Malaysia Bhd (now Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd) from September 14, 2006 to June 04, 2009. Mr. Mallon holds B.SC (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland and M.Sc (Hons) in Petroleum Engineering from Herriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland.
