Yes, credit building is a commitment and therefore requires a program. With Credit Builder Plus, you get the tools to help you be successful, and the program only costs $19.99 per month. Youll also be responsible for your loan payments.
You can recoup some or all of that amount by earning a Lions Share payout of up to $19.99 a month. To get a full $19.99 Lions Share payout, simply log into the app every day and make 20 or more transactions of at least $10 with your MoneyLion Visa Debit Card for the calendar month. To do so, click on your profile picture in the top left from almost anywhere in the app. Then select Personal Information from the Main Menu, and click on the arrow next to your phone number and follow the instructions to add/update your phone number.
I own an international mobile phone number. Can this be used?
Currently, only US phone numbers are accepted at MoneyLion.
Why am I not able to update my new phone number at my Personal Information page?
Because your phone number is newly added or you have recently made changes to it, we are unable to update this due to security reasons. Please try again later.
Why is my phone number not valid?
Our current validation process is indicating that the number you have entered is not a valid mobile number. Please note, we currently do not accept landline or VoIP numbers due to security reasons. If you do have a mobile phone number, please check to see that you entered it correctly.
Whycan'tmy current mobile number be added to my profile?
If you entered your number correctly but are unable to add it to your profile, it could be that your number is not a valid mobile number, you have not completed the one-time code verification, or this number is associated to malicious activity.
View ArticleIf you made your payment a few days ago and it's still showing as pending, it's likely because you made the payment with a bank account (vs. a debit card).
It can take up to 5 full business days for a bank payment to fully clear for your loan or membership. Note that Federal holidays are not considered business days.
Debit card payments can post as soon as the same business day. (Note: Debit card payments are not available for automatic membership payments at this time.)

In order for you to cancel your membership, all your MoneyLion loans must be paid in full. To pay them, please head over to the Loans tab of the MoneyLion app in order to pay off any active loans or Instacash balance. Once your loan payments have settled, then you can proceed with cancellation.

View ArticleIf you selected "Turbo" for your loan funds but did not receive them within 30 minutes, you can contact your bank to see if they have a pending transaction on your account. It's likely that the issue is on their end, as MoneyLion send the funds to your card immediately when you select Turbo.
Please note that Turbo supports most Visa and MasterCard debit cards. We do not support funding to gift cards, employer-sponsored pay-cards, and other non-re-loadable cards.

If you would like to pay off your loan and immediately re-borrow again, the best way is to pay off your existing loan with a debit card. (NOTE: if you pay off your loan with your checking account, it will take 3-5 business days to process)
You can pay off your loan using your debit card by completing the follow steps:
Go to the loans tab, select your current loan, then select Pay off in Full."
Select the debit card you would like to use and click Submit Payment. Or, if you havent yet added the debit card to your wallet, please click Add a Payment Method, add your card there, and click Submit Payment.
This should only take a few minutes to process, and then you can take out another loan if you would like.
SOME IMPORTANT NOTES:
If you have a loan payment In Process, please wait until that payment has been completed before attempting to pay in full. Please see below for an example of a loan payment in process:
While there is no penalty for early repayment, to help ensure the security of your account, you may not request a new Plus loan within 7 days of receiving your previous Plus loan.
If you are still experiencing issues, please delete your debit card from your wallet and re-enter your information in order to complete the request.
View ArticleIf you would like to modify or cancel your membership, you can do so right from the MoneyLion mobile app. Simply click on your profile picture (top left of any screen) to open the main menu, and then tap Membership. From there, go to the Manage My Membership page, where you can initiate:
cancelling your membership,
updating your payment method, and/or
updating your payment date.
If youre thinking about canceling your membership and losing access to 0% APR advances and 5.99% APR credit builder loans, please note that you must pay off any active MoneyLion loans first. If you decide to say goodbye (wed miss you), you can cancel instantly right from the app or you can initiate a membership modification from this form, which will take up to 72 hours to process.

Follow these steps to easily add a bank account to your MoneyLion Wallet:
Go to the Main Menu by clicking on your profile picture on the top left of your home screen in the MoneyLion app.
Once in the Main Menu, select Wallet from the menu.
Once you are in your Wallet, click on "Add a payment method". You will see your payment method options pop up at the bottom the screen.
Click on "Bank account" from the options.
Next, select your Bank from the ones listed or search for your Bank.
Once you select your Bank, we will prompt you to enter your bank information and possible one-time PIN if your bank supports it.
If we successfully connect with your bank and confirm your account info, we will add the eligible payment method to your MoneyLion Wallet.
Note: If you receive a message that we're unable to connect with your bank, even when your information is accurate, it's possible that your bank is having connectivity or network issues. Please wait 10-15 minutes to let the issue resolve before you try again. If you are still having issues after waiting and trying again, please contact customer support.

It typically takes three recurring paycheck deposits before you can use Instacash; however, we may be able to unlock Instacash after your second recurring paycheck in some cases.
Here's how it typically works:
Check that your first direct deposit is received into your MoneyLion Checking account. This means you're on your way to using Instacash!
Make sure that your first direct deposit is followed by two more paycheck deposits of similar amounts on a recurring basis (timing will be based on your weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly pay schedule).

We help ensure your security and privacy with industry-standard forms of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) methods, which include a one-time verification code as an additional layer of security on top of your username/password. Basically, 2FA means that your identity is verified with TWO factors -- both your username/password combination and unique one-time verification code.
With 2FA, you will verify your username/password followed by a one- time verification code. Verification codes are unique to your account and can only be received via email or text message.
Two-Factor Authentication protects your information and is a mandatory security feature that cannot be turned off. By having 2FA on, we ensure that your account is under stricter security measures because it adds an extra layer of authentication required to access your account
What is a verification code? Why is it required?
A verification code is a temporary four-digit code that provides an additional layer of security beyond your username and password. It is part of our highly secure Two-Factor Authentication process. You may be prompted to use a verification code at certain points in the application process, when logging in to your account, or when making certain types of financial transactions.
A verification code can be sent to you via text message or email and can only be used once. Please note, once a verification code is sent to you, it will expire within 25 minutes, so please enter the code when prompted.
You will be instructed within the MoneyLion app or on moneylion.com on where and when to enter a verification code. Simply follow the prompts, and well guide you through the quick process!
Which verification code delivery method should I select?
A text message is generally the most secure and fastest way to receive your verification code. If you do not have a phone number on file or recently changed your number, then please select email as the delivery method.
Should I share my 4-digit verification code with anyone over the phone or email?
No, you should never share your verification code with anyone. This code is unique to you and cannot be used with anyone else. This is an important step in keeping your account secure. Well never ask you over the phone, by email, or by DM to provide your verification code.
How long does it take to get my verification code once I request it? What if Idon'tget it?
You should receive the verification code almost immediately after the request is initiated in the app or online. If you do not, you can click the Resend Code to receive another one.
Please note that to protect your account, we recommend that you do not request a verification code more than four times. If after four attempts you are unsuccessful in verifying the codes that have been sent to you, pleasesubmit a ticket here so we can assist you.
How many times can I retry the same verification code?
For your security and the protection of your account, we give you three attempts to enter a single verification code. After three attempts (or after 25 minutes), the current code will expire and no longer be valid. You will need to request a new one to proceed.
If youre experiencing trouble logging in after three attempts or trying the new code, please contact us so we can assist you.
What if I receive a verification code that I didnt request or receive multiple codes?
If you are sure that you did not request a verification code, we strongly recommend that you change your password immediately and contact MoneyLion. This way we can ensure the safety and security of your account.
If you received multiple codes, please use the most recent verification code that was sent to you and disregard the previous ones. Once you request a new one; the previous ones are no longer valid.
How will I get my verification code if MoneyLion doesnt have my current cell number or email?
If you have recently updated your phone number and we do not have the new number on file, you can request your email as the verification code delivery method. If we also do not have your current email on file, please call our customer service team at1-801-252-4427.
What if I requested a verification code and have not received it?
If youdon'treceive your code within a few minutes, please check your signal strength; in some cases, a weak signal can prevent or delay the delivery of your verification code. You can also click on the resend option to try again. If you have tried resending the code three times and still have not received the code, please go back through the login process and select email as your delivery method. If you still don't receive your code, please contact us so we can further assist you.
Although email delivery is typically fast, in some cases (depending on your email and internet provider), email delivery can take up to 15 minutes to receive after its been sent. We recommend that you check your spam and junk folders as well. If after 15 minutes you have not received the email and you have checked your spam and junk folders, please click the resend option. If you still do not receive the email, please contact us so we can further assist you.

Go to the main menu by clicking on your profile picture on the top left of your home screen.
Once in the main menu, select Wallet from the menu.
Once you are in your wallet, click on "Add a payment method". You will see your payment method options pop-up at the bottom the screen.
Select "Debit/Credit Card" from the options.
The next screen will ask for your Card number, Expiration date, and CVV.Please note you cannot add an expired card.
Clicking "Next" will take you to the billing address details.
If everything matches, you will be taken to a success screen.
Clicking Done will add your card to the wallet.
If there is any inconsistency with your card number, Expiration date,or CVV, you will be asked verify the details and enter card and address details again.
If the billing address you entered does not match the details your bank has, you will be asked to verify the address and enter your card and address details again. This could be because you recently moved and have not updated your bank. Please update your address with the bank first and then try again.

You currently have an outstanding MoneyLion Credit Builder Plus loan. Before you can withdraw funds from your investment account, you must first pay back your outstanding MoneyLion Credit Builder Plus loan.
Its been less than 30 days since you signed up for MoneyLion Credit Builder Plus - you cannot withdraw from your investment account for the first 30 days.
You have less than $5 in your account. We require that you keep a $5 minimum balance in your investment account.
If you just enrolled, you cannot withdraw any funds until this amount is reached.
View ArticleWe designed Instacash to help you access smaller amounts of cash in a pinch, such as for an unexpected late fee or a can't-miss date night. And we designed it to be easy to pay back! It isn't meant to be a way to fund your larger expenses. For these reasons, we allow you to take out Instacash in maximum increments of $50.
Of course, if you've unlocked an Instacash limit higher than $50, it will all still be available to you if you need it. You'll just have to take it out in advances of $50 at a time.

First let's talk about how to get your fee waived! There's no Instacash membership fee if you have a MoneyLion Checking account with recurring direct deposits of at least $250. Not only that, your Instacash limit would be 10% of your deposit amount, so you can unlock higher Instacash limits (up to $250!) with larger direct deposits.
Or are you wanting to cancel because you found that cash advances aren't fully covering your needs? If so, please know that we also offer a larger loan at 5.99% APR that helps you build your credit while you borrow. It's part of our Credit Builder Plus membership. Learn more here.
If you are absolutely sure you do not need access to 0% APR advances, it's easy to cancel in the MoneyLion app. But note that if you change your mind, you will not be able to sign up for Instacash again for another 60 days. This is to prevent misuse of the membership.
To cancel, open the Main Menu by tapping on your profile picture in the top left of the home screen. Then tap Membership in the menu, select "Manage membership" and then "Cancel my membership."
Please know that you will not be able to cancel your membership if you have unpaid Instacash, membership or other membership dues. Please repay any dues and then use the instructions above to cancel anytime.
View ArticleOnce your current MoneyLion Plus loan status has been marked as Paid Off in your account, you will be able to apply for another loan. If you pay off your loan in full with Debit Card, your loan is marked as Paid Off immediately. If you pay off your loan with ACH checking account, it takes 3-5 business days from the time of pay off until the loan is marked as Paid Off.

It's easy! Open the MoneyLion app, go to the Finances tab, and tap Transfer. There you'll be able to perform transfers among your linked accounts, including:
MoneyLion Checking account (up to 1-2 business days to process)
MoneyLion Investment account (up to 7-14 business days to process)
External bank account (up to 1-2 business days to process)
Note: When you transfer out of your investment account, we need to sell the investments in the market before we can transfer the funds. This can take 7 - 14 business days.
To link an account that you can use for transfers, tap "Link an account" on the Finances tab home screen. You can also link an account using the More Options menu from the Finances tab.
Another way to fund your MoneyLion Checking account (and unlock 0% APR Instacash advances) is to set up direct de posit. Tap Instacash in the app for easy setup.

In order to cancel, simply click on your profile picture (top left of any screen) to open the main menu, and then tap Membership. From there, go to the Manage My Membership page. You can also initiate cancellation by filling out this form , and well process your cancellation for you.
