Mr. Daniel J. Churay, also known as Dan, has been an Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs at MRC Global Inc. since May 2012 and has been its General Counsel since August 16, 2011. Mr. Churay has been Corporate Secretary of MRC Global Inc. since November 2011. Mr. Churay manages MRC Global's human resources, legal, risk compliance, corporate services and external and government affairs functions. He served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at MRC Global (US) Inc. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Rex Energy Corporation from December 1, 2010 to June 3, 2011. He served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of YRC Worldwide Inc. from September 2002 to December 01, 2010. At YRC Worldwide, Mr. Churay has primary responsibility for its legal, risk, compliance and external affairs matters, including its internal audit function. He served as Senior Vice President of YRC Worldwide Inc., since September 2002. He served as a Senior Counsel of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P since 2002. Mr. Churay began his career as an attorney at the law firm of Norton Rose Fulbright in Houston, Texas. From 1989 to 1995, he was an Associate Attorney at the law firm of Norton Rose Fulbright in Houston, Texas. He served as the Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Baker Hughes Incorporated from 1998 to 2002. At Baker Hughes, he was responsible for legal matters relating to acquisitions, divestitures, treasury matters and securities offerings. He served as a Director of Rex Energy Corp. from October 2007 to June 3, 2011. Mr. Churay received a B.A. in Economics from The University of Texas in 1986 and a J.D. from University of Houston Law Center in 1989, where he was a member of the Law Review.
