Mr. C. D. Baer Pettit has been the President of MSCI Inc. since October 31, 2017 and served as its Managing Director. Mr. Pettit served as Chief Operating Officer of MSCI Inc. from September 2015 to October 31, 2017. He served as the Head of Product Group at MSCI Inc. from February 2015 to September 2015 and served as its Head of Global Index Business Unit from September 2011 to September 2015, Head of Client Coverage from 2001 to August 2012 and served as its Head of Marketing from October 2005 to August 2012. Mr. Pettit worked for Bloomberg L.P. from 1992 to 1999, served as its Deputy Head of European Sales. Mr. Pettit holds a Master of Arts in History from Trinity College, Cambridge University and a Master of Science from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
