Cut out Deadwood, especially at the top

Groupism and blue eyed boy syndrome, entrenched and unresponsive to what is important to grow, too much chasing media noise and not enough awareness of what is important for structural growth
steep learning curves and hit the ground running are all too well, but when decisions don't get taken, nor is there implementation of ideas beyond show window dressing, the 'kitchen battles' are likely to hit output. very high churn shows how exhausted people get, which compensation alone can't fix
Less ppt n meetings, more gruntwork
ingroup-outgroup culture, aversion to helping others visible in silos; effective and friendly people are dumped with work while do-the-leasts and people pleasers band to ensure enthusiasm gets drained rapidly
The amount of work that is expected to get done to meet someone else's arbitrary deadline.
Growth mindset is really needed.
Overhaul of legacy personnel and infrastructure
probably part of the zoom and covid isolation is responsible, but you cannot have culture without interaction that is open and honest. A hybrid workplace is unlikely to foster sanitization. People have worked collaboratively in other places for decades, but not here
Three months to hire, multiple rounds of interviews ...is crazy if you have no intention of retaining people with proper training
