Executive Bio

Mr. David G. Hugley has been Secretary of National Instruments Corp. since 1996. Mr. Hugley has been Vice President of Global Legal of National Instruments Corporation since January 2003 and its General Counsel since 1991. Since joining NI in 1991, Mr. Hugley has identified risk and developed risk mitigation strategies globally, managing NI's administrative and legal obligations in creating branch offices, R&D facilities and manufacturing sites in more than 40 countries. In 1995, Mr. Hugley played a key role in transitioning NI from a privately owned business to a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ stock exchange. In 2001, he was pivotal in establishing NI's first overseas manufacturing facility in Hungary. Mr. Hugley received his Bachelor's Degree in finance and JD from UT Austin. He is a Licensed Attorney in Texas.
