It is good enough, not great
empowering individuals, and supportive. Highly depends on individuals though
Transparency and clear vision for the future
Transparancy qnd forqard thinking team
Review from Marketing Dept
They listen to their employees and the data.
Reduce meetings and distractions, let the work get done.
Improve decision making & have a well defined vision for the company.
The leadership needs to know the business and the customers and stop spending all the time in meeting rooms and slides. They focus on pretty slides while they use customers because the leadership does not know the business
Review from Engineering Dept
Stop changing company directions every couple of years and let things play out and back decisions with transparent data for your employees.
Review from Engineering Dept
Leadership development - there are far too many decision makers with no leadership, management, practical experience
RSU's and the healthcare plan
Thr medical benefits and stock options
Review from Marketing Dept
All of it is extremely fair.
Decent benefits for medical especially.
Review from Engineering Dept
Basic employee benefits are well taken care
Too many disruptions, too many meetings, managers seem clueless and it all rolls downhill. Pay is below market.
They give you your compensation on a scale where 1 is the average from an external source. And I have always been below the average. If I compare to friends that use to work here and left omg we are behind. I have stayed only because I like the people/friends I have at the place.
Pay on par with competitors. Adequate compensation over and above depending on individual responsibilities.
no automnomy. All decisions made by HQ
Review from Engineering Dept
Take a look at your competition around town and stop pretending you're not vying for the same talent. Either pay market comp or settle for lower standards. Can't preach you hire the best when you don't pay like it.
Review from Engineering Dept
Good people on my team, overall.
Friendly, genuinely care for colleagues and compmag
Camaraderie, work ethics, smart, hard working
The positivity and willingness to embrace change
They are intelligent, kind, talented, and very creative people from all over the world.
Start hiring for experience and results. Reduce meetings and distractions.
They need to try and be a little less cutthroat with each other, mostly everyone is wonderful though.
Inexperienced, ineffective, "fan boy" mentality
Politics and unnecessary red tape often inhibit collaboration
Review from Marketing Dept
Team is great, lots of talented people, very good management (rare, have been on many teams). A shining star in a bleak sky.

The people and team interactions
The work/life balance NI maintains.
People generally care that things go right and will voice their opinions, regardless of whether management listens. Work relationships that form last and go beyond just work.
Review from Engineering Dept
Work life balance and no micromanage
Work life balance and helpful colleagues
Review from Engineering Dept
Better support for the front line - tools, resources, productive time without disruptions.
Improve Diversity - Very few woman employees, fewer women in leadership roles. Be more inclusive - Not very inclusive of branches outside USA.
The company needs leadership that the employees trusts.
Review from Engineering Dept
Remove the "leadership team" and rebuild - NI is the yahoo of the test and instrumentation industry
It was straightforward and went fairly quickly
Meeting so many members of the team.
It was easy, but at least it was performed by an engineer.
Review from Engineering Dept
Based on your ability instead of Education background
They just don't rely on coding questions but also test youe domain knowledge
Review from Engineering Dept
Very slow, no clear communication. The questions asked during interview is not related to the job expectations in any way. Also too many rounds during interview. They are not clear on the job description. It is too generic.
Interview for competency not for "cultural alignment"
Review from Engineering Dept
Company should know what kind person they need
The people that I work with.
The team and challenging work that's forward-thinking.
My individual role is very stisfying and creative. I love the work, the team, and the problems we get to solve.
Solving problems that helps every day life and the community.
Review from Engineering Dept
Surrounded by Friendly and supportive co-workers
Upper management needs to get out and walk around once in awhile. They are truly out of touch.
Changes in investments on products too frequent. Poor purpose & vision of the company. They are not clear where they want to be & just have some fancy words for vision & mission.
bad manager bad leadership fail to have better plan.
The company has lost focus and the leadership communicates soundbites with no meat in it
Review from Engineering Dept
Management are making seemingly poor, ill informed decisions without transparency nor accountability. Engineers are left to suffer the consequences. Get more competent managers who have actual engineering experience, not those who didn't make the engineer grade early in their careers.
