What did you like most about the interview process? It was pretty casual and I was able to meet a lot of the team.
What makes you most happy at work?Working with my immediate colleagues on interesting and fulfilling engineering problems.
What are some of the best things about your team?My immediate team is amazing - collaborative, knowledgeable and great leaders. Some of the sister units have some real bad apples and a good ole boys club persists in parts of the company that can be demoralizing.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?Stop being so lenient on employees that cause problems. They drive good employees out of the company faster.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?Raises barely keep up with inflation on a good year. So most raises are basically not super severe pay cuts. Company only gives real raises during promotions and are super stingy with promotions even with very deserving employees.
