I have been with Nissan for 5 years and they have become very greedy with their profits as they make it harder for the employees to get paid for selling their own product which does not make any sense as Nissan is finally competing with the big companies like Toyota and Honda.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We had a record breaking year and yet my paychecks were only getting smaller each month which did not make any sense as most of the vehicles that Nissan assembles are not brought overseas from Japan but now they are assembled in Tennessee which they raise destination fees on cheaper costs.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Just the outlook for everyone that works there as I have been diagnosed with severe social anxiety and severe depression which after 28 years of my life, I am finally getting better each day as I have trained my brain to think positive as negative thoughts do not get you anywhere in life.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like the fact that it is a team effort that must come into play to have a successful career as Nissan is one of the only manufacturers that is designing beautiful vehicles. They have the #1 Selling SUV and that is the Nissan Rogue and just the technology on these vehicles blows my mind away.
