
Overall, they have a very positive impression for the CEO. The simulation between the Dell and EMC employees took some time, but the majority believe it is getting there. It is a huge company with over 100,000 employees, so there are always going to be ups and downs. With that being said, it is a fantastic company and is a great place to work.
There is a sense that Goulden is a bean counter with only a slightly better than average grasp of the technology. Dell seems to be more knowledgeable about the technology but is leaving thing she hands off to Goulden.
Michael Dell is not seen as a strategic player - nor is he really seen as being in touch with the customer.
I don't hear people talking about him much.
