Drew Asher — Executive VP & CFO at WellCare Health Plans

Mr. Andrew L. Asher, also known as Drew, serves as President and Chief Financial Officer at Universal American Corp. Mr. Asher has been Chief Financial Officer of WellCare Health Plans, Inc. since November 14, 2014 and has been its Executive Vice President since October 2016. He has been Chief Financial Officer at Missouri Care, Inc. since November 2014 and Executive Vice President since October 2016. He served as Senior Vice President of WellCare Health Plans, Inc. and Missouri Care, Inc. since August 29, 2014 until October 2016. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance of Coventry Health Care Inc. and served as its Vice President. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Aetna's (NYSE: AET) Local and Regional Businesses since May 2013 when his former employer, Coventry Health Care, was acquired by Aetna. During his tenure with Coventry, Mr. Asher had responsibility for financial planning and analysis, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, treasury and procurement. He served as Vice President of Finance & Operations and Chief Financial Officer for Oxford Health Plans of Florida for two years before joining Coventry and served as a Senior Accountant and Auditor for Deloitte & Touche LLP for five years. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and a Master's in Taxation from the University of Central Florida.
