Ms. Elizabeth Miller, also known as Liz, has been State President of Florida at WellCare Health Plans, Inc. since October 15, 2016. Ms. Miller served as the Chief Operating Officer of WellCare of Florida, Inc. from August 25, 2014 to October 15, 2016. She joined WellCare as Vice President of product operations in 2012 where she was responsible for WellCare's successful bid and implementation of Florida's Managed Medical Assistance Medicaid program. She act as a liaison to governments and other external agencies. She began her health care career as an Oncology Nurse. Prior to joining WellCare, she held corporate and field leadership roles with Genesis Healthcare, and network management and health service leadership roles with UnitedHealth Group. She has a Master's of business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and master's and bachelor's degrees in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania.
