Executive Bio
Mr. Lou Gianquinto has been State President of Missouri at WellCare Health Plans, Inc. since September 2015. Mr. Gianquinto leads WellCare's Medicaid business through its Missouri Care Health Plan and growth initiatives in the state. He served as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at WellCare, where he focused on strengthening clinical analytics to achieve cost savings and vendor oversight. Before that, he served as vice president of Business Process Improvement. Prior to joining WellCare in 2010, he held leadership roles for SCIOinspire Corp., UnitedHealthCare and Oxford Health Plans. He also co-owned Waymark Associates, a medical auditing and consulting firm in Connecticut. Mr. Gianquinto holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Southern Connecticut State University, and a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of New Haven.
