Mr. Roman T. Kulich, CPA has been Region President of Georgia & South Carolina at WellCare Health Plans, Inc. since September 11, 2013. Mr. Kulich joined WellCare from Coventry Health Care, where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer for the Missouri and Illinois plans. He served positions increasing leadership and responsibility with Molina Healthcare of Michigan, SelectCare, Inc., and Health Alliance Plan. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of the Molina Healthcare of Michigan, Inc. until March 30, 2008. Mr. Kulich's background reflects a wealth of Michigan managed care experience, including President and Chief Executive Officer of SelectCare in Troy, Michigan; and Chief Operating Officer for Health Alliance Plan in Detroit, Michigan. He enjoys high visibility for his civic and community organization activities and is a Fellow of the Health Care Financial Management Association. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Association of Health Plans, the Greater Detroit Health Council and the Metropolitan Affairs Council. Mr. Kulich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University and a CPA certificate within the State of Michigan.
