Executive Bio

Mr. Frank Flores has been the Sector Vice President of Engineering at Northrop Grumman Corporation since June 2011. Mr. Flores has been the Vice President of Engineering, Logistics and Technology at Northrop Grumman Integrated Systems since October 2004. He is a co-founder of Radio Systems organization at Northrop Grumman. He is responsible for managing and deploying people, processes, tools and test resources in support of Aerospace Systems programs, along with development of design and support engineering process, tools and procedures that maximize collaborative development across the enterprise. He served as the Sector Vice President of Engineering & Programs of Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems. Since joining Northrop Grumman in 1978 at the legacy TRW Company, his career has spanned a wide range of roles from functional management to business development to program management positions. Mr. Flores served as the Sector Vice President of Engineering and Programs at the former Integrated Systems sector. During his career, he has contributed to the successful development of satellite communication systems, avionics communications systems for advanced fighters and terrestrial radio systems. Mr. Flores joined Integrated Systems from Northrop Grumman's Space Technology sector, where he served as Director of the F-35 communications, navigation and identification program for the sector's Radio Systems organization in San Diego. Previously, he was Director of Engineering for Radio Systems, where he provided engineering support to develop complex electronic systems for aircraft and telecommunications applications. Mr. Flores holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, San Diego Executive Program for Scientists and Engineers and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
