Mr. Harry Miles has been Sector Vice President of Enterprise Process Development and Quality for the Ship Systems sector at Northrop Grumman Corporation since February 14, 2006. Mr. Miles is responsible for developing and leading the implementation of a strategy for process development and improvement across the enterprise. Previously, Mr. Miles led the rollout and implementation of Six Sigma, a quality and process improvement program, across Northrop Grumman's Space Technology sector to improve its competitive position within the aerospace industry. Mr. Miles helped achieve substantial savings in production, supply chain, legal and human resources operations by implementing Six Sigma methods, coaching process improvement teams, defining processes and helping to develop common tools for measuring performance against objectives. Previously, Mr. Miles held leadership positions of increasing responsibility on satellite and high-energy laser programs. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University.
