Patrick M. Antkowiak — Corporate VP & CTO at Northrop Grumman Corporation

Mr. Patrick M. Antkowiak, also known as Pat, has been the Chief Technology Officer and Corporate Vice President of Northrop Grumman Corporation since November 20, 2014. Mr. Antkowiak is responsible for developing and executing corporate technology strategy, setting technology plans and serving as primary interface with technology leaders in the customer community, with industry and university research partners. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Advanced Concepts & Technologies Division in the Electronic Systems Sector at Northrop Grumman Corporation from March 2010 to November 20, 2014 and served as its Vice President of Strategy and Capability Development since March 2009. He joined Northrop Grumman Corporation in 1981 and has held a variety of positions in engineering, program management and product development. In 1992, he was named Engineering Manager and Product Development Team Leader for the Comanche helicopter mission computer program. He later was named Program Manager for Space-Based Radar (SBR) and space technology development programs. In 2002, he was appointed Program Director for SBR and proprietary programs and two years later was named Director of Advanced Space Development Programs. He also has served as Director of Space Systems for Electronics Systems, where he was responsible for the development of a wide portfolio of radio frequency and electro-optical space sensor and space superiority concepts and technologies for future national security programs. He is a Member of the Corporate Policy Council at Northrop Grumman Corporation. Mr. Antkowiak earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University and a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland. He has also completed the General Manager's Program at Harvard University.
