
The work and my co-works. The work is fascinating and of great variety. The people I work with on projects are good at what they do and how they treat people.
The people you work with are by and large fantastic. Skilled, knowledgeable, empathetic, understanding - the exact opposite of the upper management who micromanage in some way every detail. Middle management is decent but is powerless and overruled at every turn by upper management.
A finding of fault from an assessment of our compensation system indicated that the granualarity of job descriptions and titles was very poor. All compensation is based on your job title, yet everyone is lumped into such large categories your skills, degrees, and productivity are averaged away.
It takes months from applying to get a phone call. Months from the phone call, to get an in-person interview. Months from the interview to get an offer. It takes more than 6-months. The hiring staff are not knowledgeable or consistent in their statements.
