He served as Vice President of International Business Development at Oxy in Abu Dhabi. From 2006 to 2009, he served as the President and General Manager for Oxy Oman in Muscat. Earlier in his career at Oxy, he held a number of drilling, engineering, operations and senior management positions in the United States, Latin America and Middle East. He serves as a Director of Dolphin Energy Limited. Mr. Vangolen holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Process Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
