Mr. Culp served as the Chief Operating Officer of Culp, Inc. since 1985, Executive Vice President and Secretary until 1981 and also as its President from 1981 to 1990. Mr. Culp has been the Chairman of Culp, Inc. since 1990. He has been Lead Independent Director of Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. since January 2010 and has been its Director since 2003. He has been a Director of Culp, Inc. since 1972. He has been an Independent Director of Leggett & Platt, Incorporated since January 10, 2013. He serves as a Trustee of High Point University. He served as a Director of Stanley Furniture Co. Inc. from July 1999 to December 9, 2011. He holds a degree in economics from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
