Mr. Daniel S. Johnston, also known as Dan, has been the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Omnicell, Inc. since February 2015. Mr. Johnston has been an Executive Vice President and Company Secretary of Omnicell, Inc. since March 2012 and served as its General Counsel since November 26, 2003 until February 2015. He served as the Senior Vice President of Omnicell, Inc. since November 2003 and served as its Vice President. Mr. Johnston has 17 years of experience in Technology and Legal Firms. Mr. Johnston served as thePresident of BE Incorporated since January 1, 2002 and Vice President and General Counsel of Be, Inc. From 1994 to 1999, Mr. Johnston was a senior associate at the Silicon Valley law firm of Cooley Godward LLP. Mr. Johnston was resident in Cooley Godward's Information Technology Licensing group, where his practice concentrated in the areas of intellectual property and technology partner relationships and commercial transactions. From 1986 to 1991, he was employed by Lockheed Missiles and Space Company as a Software Programmer, Designing Application Software Systems and then as Computer Systems Manager in Charge of the Inventory Control Systems for the U.S. Navy's fleet ballistic missile program. From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Johnston holds his J.D. degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. Mr. Johnston has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Humboldt State University.
