What's the vibe like in the HR dept at Optiver? How many hours are you working?
Awesome vibe in the Sydney office - very supportive, friendly team that gets on very well. Hours are very good, usually 8:30 - 5:00.
The vibe is great, we all get on very well and it's a fun environment. Hours are also very good; no-one works late and we have flexibility to spend our day however we like.
How's the leadership on the HR team at Optiver?
We have an interim leader currently whilst our HR Director is on mat leave. Both are strong leaders in their own right.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Optiver?
There's nothing that really stands out for me. Before I joined I was expecting a forward-thinking team in a fast-paced, technical company. The reality has matched my expectations.
