At the end of the day, poa is about being profitable, being successful and winning. When you do that you're not gonna make everyone happy especially when you hold people accountable I've always been treated fairly.

work hard play hard.. a company that cares for its employees!

Very unique company. Most markets aren't micromanaged but that results in a lack of consistent processes. Training for every position is shadowing but everyone is spread so thin that it tends to make training non existent. It's a good fit if you like to own problems. Bad fit if you need structure.

401k and health insurance are good. Technicians can get a company car. There's an employee referral program. Health insurance costs are reasonable.

Those who make more per commission are better treated. Also, the majority of sales people are men. Sexism is an issue.

A few coworkers are great, but thats dur to common distaste towards the company.

POA is the best company at finding people. Every single person on my team is top notch! Everyone jumps in, owns the problem, and does everything they can to make a positive experience for the customer. The hiring process is picky but VERY effective.

If respecting others in the workplace was demanded and encouraged the work environment would improve.

The team really works as a team. Everyone helps each other out. Granted everyone is busy so it takes time. The ability to own a problem and make my own judgement calls is the most positive cultural attribute. There isn't red tape getting in the way of anything.

Leaders have an "above the law" mentality. They can do anything to an employee without repercussions.

The form you fill out seems to screen people for the right job well. The process of interviewing is long. One or two hour plus long interviews and an hour long paperwork form. They're not difficult, just lengthy.

When I walk into an account and the customer has a positive perception of the company, I'm happy. The second option is that as long as I'm getting my work done, nobody micro manages or checks up on me. I'm a hard worker and being allowed to just work without interference is why I'm still at POA.
