I have had a positive experience overall. Tangible improvements arising from steps taken by new/current exec team are questionable.

Simple. Talked with a couple friends at other companies with similar responsibilities.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Before the acquisition I would rate the people on my team range from 'good performer' to kexcellent/brilliant'. Stronger members have left though.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The exec team has made some changes. Bit surprised the investors approved such a large exec staff of CxO's. Perhaps their credentials are 'window dressing' .
