I haven't always appreciated the quality of all of our department managers. Some have been poor communicators. They are generally clueless about what goes on in the OR and about the role of the surgical technologist.

Helping babies come into the world safely. Seeing new parents fall in love with their babies.

We are a team and a family. We care about each other and have each other's backs.

I work with very knowledgeable medical professionals. We work well as a team. Everyone, from the hospitalists to the housekeepers is part of the team and is vital to how we function.
