What's going wrong is a complete disconnect between leadership and delivery. Projects are rushed without proper planning, leading to poor customer experiences. Priorities shift constantly based on executive whims, not user needs. To improve, the company must invest in genuine product strategy.
The interview process needs far more transparency. I was brought in under the impression that I would be leading structured process improvements, but the reality was a chaotic environment with no real interest in change. Candidates deserve an honest depiction of the role and company priorities.
