Mr. Kemal Williamson has been the President of Americas at Peabody Energy Corporation since October 2012. Mr. Williamson served as Group Vice President of Operations Project Development of Peabody Energy Corp. He served as Group Vice President of Operations of Peabody Energy Corp. since June 2008. He is responsible for it's U.S. mining operations in the Midwest, Colorado and the Southwest. Mr. Williamson has over 25 years of experience in mining engineering and operations in the United States and Australia. Mr. Williamson served as a Group Vice President of U.S. Western Operations of Peabody Energy Corp. since July 2005 until June 2008. Mr. Williamson previously served as a Group Executive for Powder River Basin Operations until July 2005 and served as its Group Executive of Midwest Operations until April 2004. He joined Peabody as Director of Land Management in 2000. He held a variety of mining operations positions in Wyoming and Australia. Mr. Williamson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mining Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
