Correcting their store managers on their attitude towards employees
Hiring and keeping skilled managers. Many stores in downtown areas do not have managers due to worker shortages, and thus SL's have to do the blunt of the work for minimum wage +$2.
Time management. Understanding the needs of employees and understanding the skills employees bring to the table
Communicating with everybody as nothing only affects one person
Our manager needs to start listening to his employees more, train them properly, and instead of belittling them and picking favorites, he should treat everyone as his equal. Also make smarter choices for choosing Shift Leads for the store.

Raises. There is a lot expected of you at this company. You have to understand every aspect of the business - the products, service, orders, cleaning, etc. and do it fast to deal with the work.
I believe that if I am placed to work on Bar, I should be paid as Barista instead of as Team Member, because I am doing Barista work. Also there have been countless times when my needs haven't been heard, and any of the solutions to the issues that were made, they all became broken promises
being treated like an actual person
Benefits are lack luster for staff who work at Peets as full time or close to fill time. Workers are only seen for their labor and not their entireties by district managers who have never done work within the cafes. Leadership fails at the district level.

My team genuinely gets along as people so working together is never a chore and I never dread going to work for coworker related reasons.
They have stellar work ethic and care a great deal about the quality of their work and are considerate of the next team who come in to take over the shift from them.
My team is small but mighty! We have a seat at the table because others value our input. We restore harmony if it ever starts to become chaotic. And, most importantly, we always deliver on our business expectations.

Doing my job with no pressure from the manager
Our manager is pretty much what's wrong in the store, since under him we had so many turn overs, and I think it can be improved by either putting him in his place, or demoting him/firing him/hiring a new manager
I am worried that I am being denied advancement opportunities because of my age (older). Educate managers on age discrimination and how it manifests itself.
