Executive Bio
Mr. Daniel Donen Davis has been Chief Commercial Officer and President of North America at Penumbra, Inc. since July 5, 2017 and 2015 respectively. Mr. Davis has thirteen years of experience in sales, marketing and business development with both early stage and Fortune 500 companies in medical devices and before that in software and consumer products. Prior to joining Penumbra, Mr. Davis served sales and marketing positions of increasing responsibility at Boston Scientific (now Stryker Neurovascular). He previously served as Vice President of Strategy from 2013 to 2014 and as Director of Marketing from 2011 to 2012. He joined Penumbra in 2007 in the pre-commercial phase to launch the first FDA cleared intracranial delivery catheter (Neuron), the first FDA cleared aspiration system for neurovascular mechanical thrombectomy (Penumbra System), and the Penumbra Coil 400 for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms. Mr. Davis received a B.A. from Duke University.
