Phaidon International Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Uncapped commission and the way the promotions are merit-based.

Excellent PTO, strong benefits, great commission structure.

Review from Operations Dept

Commission is by the best aspect of compensation.

Review from IT Dept

the best part of compensation is vacation

Review from Operations Dept

I think the base could definitely be higher, and that we could provide better increases to our employees, but genuinely the overall structure is good.

Review from Sales Dept

The commission package is great.

Review from Sales Dept

paid fairly for the market

Review from Operations Dept

The commission package is competitive.

Review from Sales Dept

commuter benefits and pay/days off

Review from Engineering Dept

My favorite part is the 20 vacation days.

Review from Finance Dept

Probably the commission structure as you grow within the company

Review from Business Development Dept

I love the ability for dental health and vision insurance

Review from Sales Dept

The best part is the uncapped commission

Review from Engineering Dept

the best part about my compensation package is the 20 day vacations. Never worked for any company that offers that many vacation days

Review from Operations Dept

Bonus structure and review schedule.

Review from Operations Dept

20 days paid time off

Review from Sales Dept

opportunity for bonuses are good

Review from IT Dept

the commission structure when we do a deal

Review from Sales Dept

Fair salary and good benefits

Review from Sales Dept

I like the uncapped commission and the ability to stack and improve your commission structure based on the deals you make. It is very merit based which makes it clear how to advance and progress in your career.

Review from Finance Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Base salary is terrible, set me back financially so much when I first started. Needs to improve as the housing market gets worse.

Review from Sales Dept

With the economy being how it is our base salary is not nearly high enough.

Review from Business Development Dept

a higher base salary would be helpful and add more stability.

Review from Operations Dept

I should have a way higher base salary than I do

Review from Sales Dept

Removal of not getting billing if under 100k

Review from Operations Dept

For >40 hours of work per week, the base salary of $45,000/year is quite low. Almost all other recruitment firms that I have applied to offer higher annual salaries for no greater than 40 work hours per week. And the commission structure is no different. Why would I choose Phaidon over other firms?

Review from Sales Dept

Given the rise in inflation and cost of living I would have expected a base salary adjustment. I do understand the role is lucrative from a commission standpoint, but while getting settled before closing deals a base adjustment would be fair, especially since it hasn't changed in a while

Review from Sales Dept

I think especially in this market, kids are getting paid nice base salaries 60-65k out of college 70-75k with a few years+ bonus structure.

Review from Sales Dept

If the base salary was livable

Review from Sales Dept

Higher base considering inflation the past year

Review from Sales Dept

Base is low for this area of the country

Review from Engineering Dept

Higher base salary, cost of living is very high

Review from HR Dept

Boston is one of the most expensive cities to live in. If you miss on commission one month it adds a new level of stress worrying about income.

Review from Sales Dept

To put it simply, just want to make more on my base salary.

Review from Legal Dept

Slightly underpaid base / deal shots not as frequent as expected

Review from Finance Dept

cutoff can be an issue as the commission based on monthly billing, get paid little if it's a tiny deal for that month

Review from Sales Dept

I think the commission structure is great, but the base salary could be higher for how many hours we put into this job.

Review from Engineering Dept

The base salary is a bit low compared to other similar agencies - the commission rates are great, but if someone has an off month the base is not livable for the Boston Area

Review from Sales Dept

Overall I believe the benefits are really positive, but the base salary is not competitive with the market

Review from Operations Dept

Higher base salary in line with market changes and more dividend options for non sales after lengthy tenure.
