Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Base salary is terrible, set me back financially so much when I first started. Needs to improve as the housing market gets worse.

Phaidon spends too much money on alcohol incentives. The incentive is the commission check. Work hours are too long. If an employee can't get their work done in 8 hours, they're not working efficiently Remote work should be an option for all employees. Especially given the recent COVID-19 outbreak.

Interviewed directly with the Directors of the business and had long constructive conversations with them

I like that they use tools like the CAPP Assessment to make sure I was placed on the team best fit for my skills and personality. I also felt the marketing of the company on social media gave me a good glimpse into what the company culture is like.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Work-life balance is horrifying. I literally have zero (yes, literally) free time on weekdays, and I usually get <7 hours of sleep on weeknights. My only chance to physically recovery is on weekends.

amenities aren't great, better coffee, drinks, snacks and an opportunity to move around a little more, some more flexibility with when to eat etc

The main issue is that days are repetitive and there is very little to look forward to. It's difficult to make 50+ calls a day when there is no ability to celebrate the wins. WFH environment makes it very difficult to distance yourself from the stress, even post hours.
