Robert A. McCabe Jr. — Chairman, Chief Financial Services Officer and Chairman of Pinnacle National Bank at Pinnacle Financial Partners

Mr. Robert A. McCabe, Jr., also known as Rob, serves as the Chief Financial Services Officer of Pinnacle Financial Partners Inc. Mr. McCabe served as Vice Chairman and President of First American Enterprises at First American National Bank since January 1994. He began his banking career with the former Park National Bank of Knoxville, Tennessee, as an Officer Trainee in 1976. From 1976 to 1984, He held various positions with Park National Bank including Senior Vice President. He spent substantially all of his business life from March 1976 to October 1999 as a Senior Officer of First American National Bank or its subsidiaries. He joined First American as an Executive Vice President of the Retail Bank of First American National Bank of Nashville, a position he held until 1987. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the First American Bank of Knoxville from 1987 to 1991 and President of Corporate Banking division since 1991. He also served as President of General Banking division at First American Bank of Knoxville. In March 1999, he was appointed by First American to manage all banking and non-banking operations. He has been the Chairman of Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Inc. since November 2006; Pinnacle Financial Partners, Inc. since 2000 and Pinnacle Bank (Nashville TN) since 2000. He has been the Chairman of Nashville Electric Service since August 2012 and served as its Vice Chair. Mr. McCabe serves as the Chairman of Payment America Systems, Inc. In addition, he serves as Chairman of the Downtown Nashville Partnership and is President-elect of the Middle Tennessee Boy Scouts Council. He has been the Chairman of Electric Power Board of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County since August 2017. He served as the Chairman of Electric Power Board of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County since August 2012. He served as Vice Chairman of Electric Power Board of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County since September 2016 until August 2017. He served as Vice Chairman of Electric Power Board of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County. He served as Vice Chairman of First American Corporation from January 1994 to 1999 and First American National Bank since January 1994. He has been an Independent Director at National Health Investors Inc. since February 2001. He has been a Director of Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Inc. since May 2004. He has been a Director of Diversicare Healthcare Services Inc. since October 06, 2015. He has been a Director of Pinnacle Financial Partners Inc. since February 28, 2000. He has been a Director of Pinnacle Bank (Nashville TN) since 2000. He serves on the Board of Directors of IFC Holdings Inc., the Nashville Symphony, Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts of America, Ensworth School, Cheekwood Association and Southeast Service Corporation. He serves as Chairman of Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and Museum of Art and the Middle Tennessee Boy Scout Council. Mr. McCabe serves on the Boards of the Nashville Symphony and Friends of Warner Parks. He has been a Director of University FanCards LLC since November 2017. He has been a Director of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce since July 3, 2014. He served as a Director of First American Corp. since 1994 and First American National Bank since January 1994 and also for Sirrom Capital Corp. He served as a Director of FINOVA Mezzanine Capital. He is active in various civic organizations within his community, including Leadership Knoxville, Leadership Nashville and Nucleus Knoxville. He is a Member of the World President's Organization, Chief Executives Organization and is a Trustee for both The Ensworth School and Cheekwood Associates. He was named the 2013 Laureate of Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee's Nashville Business Hall of Fame. He was named a Significant Sig in 2007. Mr. McCabe received his M.B.A. Degree from the University of Tennessee, where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and Graduated from the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School.
