Executive Bio

Mr. Daniel J. Goldstein, also known as Dan, has been Executive Vice President of Pitney Bowes Inc. since October 2010 and also its Corporate Secretary and Chief Legal Officer since January 1, 2016. Mr. Goldstein is responsible for a wide range of corporate functions including legal, intellectual property, governance, ethics, compliance, environment and health & safety. He served as Chief Legal & Compliance Officer of Pitney Bowes Inc. since October 2010. He had been a Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Building Materials Corporation of America, Inc and Building Materials Manufacturing Corporation since September 2, 2008. He rejoined Pitney Bowes in 2010 after having served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for GAF Materials Corporation and International Specialty Products, ISP Minerals. He held leadership roles in the Pitney Bowes Legal organization. He joined Pitney Bowes in 1999 as an Associate General Counsel served in this role from 1999 to 2005 and served as its Vice President and Deputy General Counsel from 2005 to 2008. While at Pitney Bowes, he directed major commercial litigations, advised senior management and the Board of Directors on legal matters and supervised commercial lawyers. Prior to joining Pitney Bowes, he held legal management roles with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Enforcement in the Northeast Regional Office. As Branch Chief and Assistant Regional Director, he directed investigations and litigations related to securities law violations. He was a Litigation Associate at the law firm of Debevoise & Plimpton and was Law Clerk to the Hon. Caleb M. Wright, a federal judge. He was a Director of Building Materials Corporation of America, Inc and Building Materials Manufacturing Corporation since March 27, 2009 and March 27, 2008 respectively. Mr. Goldstein received his B.A. degree, summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School of Finance. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Harvard Law School.
