Executive Bio

Mr. Michael Monahan, also known as Mike, has been Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Pitney Bowes Inc. since February 9, 2015 and March 01, 2008 respectively. Mr. Monahan served as the Chief Financial Officer of Pitney Bowes Inc. since March 1, 2008 until February 1, 2017 and served as its Chief Operating Officer since February 9, 2015 until September 02, 2015. Mr. Monahan served as the President of Global Mailing Solutions and Services at Pitney Bowes Inc. from 2002 to March 2008. He is employed at CAPE Systems Group, Inc. Mr. Monahan joined Pitney Bowes in 1988 as Manager of Corporate Accounting and served as its Manager of Corporate Budgets and Analysis since 1990. Since 1994, he served as Assistant Corporate Controller of Pitney Bowes, where he was responsible for coordinating the completion of the financial plan, annual budget and financial reporting and analysis. Since 1995, he served as Director of Investor Relations, serving as its primary contact with the investment community. Since 1998, he served as Vice President of Finance and Information Technology for the Production Mail and Document Factory Solutions division where he was responsible for the finance and information systems functions. In 1999, Mr. Monahan was appointed Vice President of Investor Relations and Financial Research. During this time, he led the successful spin-off of Imagistics International, Inc. In 2001, he became Vice President of Corporate Development with responsibilities for mergers and acquisitions, major equity investments and other transactional processes that involved significant company investment. Prior to joining Pitney Bowes, he was a Senior Auditor with Price Waterhouse. He is Chairman of the Board of the Urban League of Southwestern Connecticut. He serves as a Board Member of Pitney Bowes joint venture in Brazil. He is a member of the Board of the Armed Services YMCA. He is also a member of the Board of the Sherman Higher Education Fund. Mr. Monahan is a Certified Public Accountant who holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from the State University of New York at Albany.
