What do you like best about the leadership team?
PlanGrid, prior to acquisition, and even now, has given the perfect amount of structure while letting you be autonomous in your role.
- Transparent leadership - Consistent updates on company financials, future plans and short term/long term goals - I feel a true sense of passion about the product from each executive
Leadership team genuinely cares about their employees and company culture.
Like any startup in growth mode, there have been ups and downs. But, the Executive Team is focused on building a legendary company
I love that all of our execs are experts in their field -- our CEO relies on their minds in each area to make the best decisions for the company.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Personability. It would be much more motivating if the leadership team had a warmer and more open air about them.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Autodesk benefits are next level.
PlanGrid has a slew of benefits that go above and beyond the industry standard for startups in this area (great insurance, regular fun activities, weekend camping trip for the whole company)
Compensation here is competitive and the employee benefits are phenomenal!

What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone works hard and everyone understands the product and the clientele. Too many places people are skilled, but don't understand the industry.
My team's hardworking, positive attitude is infectious! I feel inspired by their dedication to what we do to push myself farther.
My team is collaborative, supportive, and I truly feel like I'm surrounded by the smartest people I know.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
There should be more emphasis on working collaboratively instead of doing whatever is necessary to ship your own projects.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
PlanGrid is actually helping people. Everyone there believes it and the customers are proof.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Informal and fast. The whole process was one week. No waiting around.

What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that customers love the product.
Our product has meaningful impact on the lives of hardworking people out in the field, building infrastructure to move our modern world forward. I feel proud to be a part of the team that supports the success of that product
Knowing I get to own a project and see it through to completion because my manager supports me and encourages me to spend time on top of my daily responsibilities to seek out ways to make things more efficient for the team/company in ad hoc projects.
