Executive Bio

Mr. Ned Nalle has been President of Programming for Playboy Entertainment Group since July, 2004. In this position, Mr. Nalle oversees the development, production and acquisition of programming for its 39 domestic and international television networks and other media outlets. He is responsible for leveraging the company's recently created all-digital, high definition studio and managing the cross marketing and use of programming content across multiple media platforms, including the company's internet sites. In addition, he manages the company's Alta Loma production company working with Richard Rosenzweig, chairman of Alta Loma Entertainment and Jill Liberman, vice president of development. Mr. Nalle is a 25-year veteran of the television industry, has served for the past two years as a consultant to a range of domestic and international media companies including Liberty Media Corporation, Corbis, and The American Film Institute. Previously, he spent four years as president of Universal Worldwide Television Inc., where he oversaw the development, production, sales and marketing of syndicated television series and movies. In leading that studio into its made-for-cable and first run initiatives, he developed, launched and managed such innovative franchises as Dream On, Hercules The Legendary Journeys, Xena Warrior Princess, Blind Date, and The Fifth Wheel in the US, and the Trisha talk show in the United Kingdom. He recently put together the dramatic series Young Blades for PAX and NBC. He has also held senior level positions at Universal Television and MCA Entertainment and served as a member of the Executive Committee of USA and Sci Fi Networks. Mr. Nalle began his professional career at Universal Pay Television in 1980. He is a graduate of Princeton University and also holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
