Excellent leaders who lead by example and they care about their team members

Professional. Transparent and friendly. Considerate to employees.

Nothing, mostly nepotism hires for C Level types. Its a cash cow for them as they come here for a few years and then leave after collecting their checks since no rival has emerged (or was bought by PowerSchool)

Committed and impactul, hungry yet humble.

More sensible in addressing employee concerns, well established connect with customers & partnering with them on best solution across market.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Typical venture capitalist run company, buys other smaller companies and guts most of the staff after adding product into main product. No real support for customers but the company has bought many of its rivals so no real rival that is large enough to match PowerSchools size.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compared to industry salary is way below, esp if you take experience into account. And to go further, company has been moving offshore and at this point probably is 80% offshore for R&D

Salaries are low for the industry

Paid way under market rate. Standard of living increase would be nice.

There were 5 interviews, thorough background check and drug screening. Very thorough for lower compensation and employment offer.

It was quick and included all the info I needed to be able to make an informed decision.

The work is challenging and the people i work with value me

Being able to work and be supported.

I like having the challenge of solving difficult problems that matter to the business and our customers.

Remote work with a lower salary is why I took this job.

The great office environment and people.

Clients are sold products and are not offered implementation or support after they have the contract.

the pressure to always do more and make more money. There is a limit that you can't ratchet the money spigot higher, it just blows up.
