Benjamin W. Glazer — President of Praxair Mexico & Central America at Praxair

Mr. Benjamin W. Glazer, also known as has been the President of Praxair Mexico & Central America at Praxair Inc. since June 7, 2017. Mr. Glazer served as the President of Praxair Mexico at Praxair Inc. since 2014. Since 2012, Mr. Glazer served as a Director, Executive Staff at Praxair Inc., where he supported the office of the Chief Executive Officer by planning and optimizing the Chief Executive Officer's schedule, providing coordination and support to the CEO's direct reports and executing critical agenda items on behalf of the CEO. He oversaw the CapEx approval process, participated in the annual strategic planning process and assisted with the preparation and execution of the Board of Director meetings. He joined Praxair in 2002 as an Associate in the Treasury Department and subsequently served as a financial analyst with the North American Industrial Gases business unit. Since 2004, he served as Controller for Praxair Services, Inc., followed by an assignment as general manager of the Asset Integrity Division of a Praxair subsidiary in Houston that serves the refining and chemical markets. Since 2006, he served as Praxair Electronics as Managing Director of the advanced components business. He served as Global Business Manager for Rare Gases and Assumed Responsibility for helium since 2009. He was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, an Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Cornell University.
