Mr. David P. Strauss has been the Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President of Praxair Inc. since July 26, 2016. Mr. Strauss served as Vice President of Safety, Health and Environment at Praxair Inc. since 2013 until 2016. In this role, Mr. Strauss focused on all aspects of health, environmental and FDA compliance, personal and process safety, while working closely with the Praxair business communities to achieve sustainable best in class results. Mr. Strauss joined Praxair in 1990 holding positions of increasing responsibility in the electronics materials business including general manager of North America, Vice President of operations and prior to his current position, Managing Director of Electronic Materials, a global business focused on manufacturing and selling high purity metals and ceramics to the electronics industry. Mr. Strauss holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master'S Degree from Colombia University in Management Science & Industrial Management.
