Ms. Riva Krut has been the Chief Sustainability Officer and Vice President at Praxair Inc. since December 2012 and served as its Director of Sustainability from February 2008 to December 2012. Ms. Krut has 25 years of experience as a sustainability and environmental management consultant to several leading multinational companies. She was a vice president with Cameron-Cole LLC for six years. In 2006 she served as chair of the American Chemistry Council's Strategic Review Board which reviewed the organization's Responsible Care Management System. Ms. Krut holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of London, U.K., and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
