Sonia Zuno serves as the Vice President and Chief of Staff to Proofpoint's CEO. In this role, she drives strategic alignment and communication across senior management and the organization, spearheading critical initiatives throughout the company. Leveraging her extensive experience in cross-functional program management across R&D teams, operational planning, and negotiation, Sonia is a trusted advisor to Proofpoint's executive team and stakeholders. Sonia joined Proofpoint in 2013, building Proofpoint's engineering program management team and continuing to play a vital role in Proofpoint’s internal technology council spanning product groups, before being appointed Chief of Staff.
Sonia holds a bachelor’s degree with a double major in Political Science and Mass Communications from UC Berkeley.
