My team, my work, the growth.
Flexibility, management, and impact.
Any video games played in the office?
Not recently, after the mass layoffs.
No. Jumbotron TVs are everywhere, and they are blaring during any major sport event.
do you spend time with your peers outside of work?
Top Employee Response
Rarely. Boozy Fridays aren't my thing.
Frankly, none of my ex-coworkers could beat my wife.I'll also note that ALL the smiling people visible in the Publicis staff photo have left the company, voluntarily or involuntarily, over the past 2 years.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at Vertiba?
Top Employee Response
Fun teammates that like to interact, get involved and have a beer together. Close knit team that is supportive and encouraging.
Everyone is busy. We are in fast-growth mode and not a lot of time for doddlers. Excellent people & growing!
Who did you meet with during your interview? And how long did it take to hear back from Publicis?
The VP of Production and all the developers (5). I was told I was hired within 2 days, but the paperwork had to come from the Publicis HQ in Paris, which took 6 weeks. NOTICE: Publicis USA is shrinking from over 30 offices to five regional hubs.
What was the most difficult question that was asked during your interview at Publicis?
"When can you start."
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at Publicis?
Not difficult at all, though it depends on what team you're on
What's the company culture like at Publicis?
None other than sports and booze
What interview questions does Publicis ask?
This question assumes that all potential employees will be asked the same.
What's the interview process like at Publicis?
Depends on your role, and the whims of your potential boss.
What part of Publicis's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
None, that I know of. The New York office is quite busy.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Publicis?
I'd sell Publicis to IBM.
What do people at Publicis think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
The Parisian founder of the agency was wonderful, and tried to visit as many North America agencies. Headquarters has gone through several lesser CEOs since he retired.
How's the work life balance at Publicis?
You'll fit in better if you love sports, expensive booze, and weekly propaganda sessions
How's the vacation policy at Publicis?
Quite generous
Does Publicis have any remote positions?

Do people talk about their political views openly? Or do u gotta keep that secret?
Top Employee Response
Leftish, with some crypto libertarians

Involve full project team in the project. E.G., digital projects are thrown over the wall to devs AFTER client sign-off, no changes allowed
What are some of the best things about your team at Vertiba?
Everyone is very passionate about what we do here. They are invested and eager to contribute at the project level and overall company level
Do you see coworkers typically caring about the work they do?
Top Employee Response
About a third of the staff are gung-ho. They are sprinkled up and down the org chart. This results in random success on any given project as the caring workers are assigned based on availability.
What needs to change to make the company culture better at Publicis?
Paying clients (More Than One), and a completely different senior Creative team. On the other hand, they've tried that 3 times in 4 years
What's going wrong and how can it be improved at Publicis?
My preceding comments are ALL about improvements. They have not been implemented for several years.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better at Publicis?
Top Employee Response
Due to semi-monthly mass layoffs for the past 3 years, and the last purge that put me on the dole, I won't be working with my ex-workers.
