Steve Gardner — President of Precision Software at QAD

Mr. Steve Gardner has been the President of Precision Software Limited at QAD Inc. since July 15, 2014. Mr. Gardner leads the further expansion of Precision Software division into the cloud and is overall responsible for development, services, support, marketing and sales. He spent eight years inside QAD, successfully growing sales revenue in the European market, most recently as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for EMEA. Mr. Gardner worked in the Freight Forwarding Industry working for 14 years for a company that specialized in providing software solutions for both national and international organizations into three continents (Europe, North America and Africa). Initially starting his career as a software developer, Mr. Gardner progressed up through Freight Forwarding taking roles and responsibilities such as Head of Software Development, Commercial Director then Managing Director. Recognizing that he held a flare for the commercial activities Mr. Gardner took a role with a Swedish ERP software manufacturer for six years prior to moving to QAD in 2005. Mr. Gardner has worked for nine years with QAD in Europe being responsible for Sales, Presales and Marketing in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) before accepting the role as President of Precision. Moving to North America and the HQ of Precision in Chicago in August 2014 Mr. Gardner has once again relished the opportunity to head-up all aspects of Precision. His customer focused and process driven attitude shaping the Precision product set, the services delivery model and the customer focused activities and ethos. Mr. Gardner holds a Degree in Computer Science in the UK Fellow of the Institute of Directors (IoD).
