What's the vibe like in the Engineering dept at QAD? How many hours are you working?
Some people are expected to work 50+ hours and weekends and holidays are fair game
Varies. If there's a release then evenings and weekends are not your own.
What's the Engineering team like at QAD?
Team is good. Managers are not.
EMEA teams seem to be best tuned in to the employees. Corporate not so much.

There are many teams. Some good, some not.

Once a year. Could be nothing, could be 3%
How's the feedback proccess at QAD?
Poor but HR is sincerely working on it.
What kind of people succeed at QAD?
Stay out of R&D. Services seems to be a good place to advance.
How much diversity is there among employees at QAD?
At Corporate it is good. There are global offices too and I don't have knowledge of the situation there.
How does QAD make decisions around promotions?
Managers decide as a group and promotions rarely happen

Average but they force you to take PTO days between Christmas and New Years
What's the office vibe like at QAD?
People are nice but Engineering is now in two huge bullpens and sharing desks and it's too &$*%# noisy.
What are your coworkers at QAD like?
Most are very nice. No one will stand up to the few rude ones.
What's the interview process like at QAD?
Interview with manager first, then group interview with team, then personality test.
What part of QAD's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
New SaaS business is best. Upgrades of current customers to new versions are slow.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at QAD?
There are many good and smart people working at QAD but the micromanaging starts at a high level so there is little opportunity to contribute. Management should let their people do their jobs with much less interference.
What do people at QAD think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
The CEO runs R&D and all good ideas are hers and there are no other ideas.
