What do you like best about the leadership team?
Always willing to go above and beyond
They are all very down to earth. There is alot of transparency and open communication with the leadership team. They are professionally friendly, nice and kind people.
The team is very agile
They are all domain experts, are always reachable, and also do a great job at communicating the strategy in a way that builds alignment for everyone at the company.
They are transparent about the status of the company and strategies as much as they can.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
great benefits like working from home and low taxes
The Equity stocks and health benefits
My monthly salary is my favorite
I appreciate the options to purchase equity, as well as the adjustment for living incomes based on geographic location.
Quora has great benefits like free lunch, great health insurance etc..., but my favorite is book expense policy which you can expense any books as long as it's useful for our work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would like to be compensated based on my experience and impact to the company instead of my geographical location.
More benefits will be great like matching 401K and more perks.
What are some of the best things about your team?
All seem genuine and excited to be amazing team players
nice people and no office politics
Everyone is friendly and available and happy to help and guide when needed.
The team is funny and well executers
People at Quora are very smart yet humble and always willing to help, collaborate or explain things to others.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company is quite diverse and irrespective of our differences everyone gets equal treatment, no one looks down at the other for being different and it is just very much healthy

Quora is engineering centered company in good way. People from any team are very helpful and have "let's get it done" attitude.
The meetings, the team support, people in the company genuinely care. The human empathy, the transparency from top to bottom. The pace at which the management handles issues regarding its employees and the product as well. Always striving to be better and the growth within the company

What did you like most about the interview process?
hiring manager easy to talk to
the honest friendliness with the recruiter, providing adequate information on what to expect for the next steps and also in providing updates.
presenting a short deck of our product
They provided me with enough information before every stage and also responded very quickly afterward with a decision and next steps. It was really smooth and I felt like they cared about my time.

The fact that no one micro-manages. Leaders have level of trust and confidence that everyone will do their job and that is good for morale. Also i do love my job itself
