We have not given out pay raises for years, and inflation is even higher this year when we finally gave out a few raises. If the chicken and beef at the grocery store cost more, to feel valued people need to not worry about where to come up with the money to cover inflation, it should be standard.

many times interviews are completed by a panel of interviewers who may have to sit through several interviews in a single day, having participated in hiring I know that sometimes half way through the day you are just ready for it to be over and the candidate does not get your best attention
