Fewer endless meetings with unresolved agonizing circular discussions

Everyone is treated fairly and with dignity and respect. Very intelligent people with utmost, polished manners.

Time to hire has taken so long some candidates have given up and withdrawn themselves—these are people who we wanted to hir
Hiring decisions can take months with endless dithering
What makes you most happy at work?
The facinating work assignments and working with high level individuals that I eagerly learn from.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Lack of Vision and matrix management lead to conflicting incentives and passive aggressive management
Culture of bullying, nepotism and hostility. RAND needs its own metoo moment.
