What part of Realvolve's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Customers are growing really, really fast. It is a challenge keeping up with the demands of new customers, but we're doing it.
Users are growing faster than we can keep up with. Keeping up with user suggestions for site keeps us very busy, but it's a healthy and rewarding challenge.
I'd say the sales & marketing team. The biggest difficulty right now is not being able to hire as quickly as we need to.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Realvolve?
No suggestions for improving the culture. We're diverse, smart, accepting, and fun people.
I really wouldn't. I feel like the ground level is tasked with satisfying customers while the executive level really makes their employees their main priority. I believe a company is supposed to work in this way.
Since we are growing so rapidly, I'd say the main focus is to maintain our culture. No need to really improve on it much, but more so make sure it doesn't fade over the years and as we grow.
What do people at Realvolve think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
We like Dave. He's very insightful and kind to us; a good encouragement. Dave should probably work less; makes us look bad!
Our CEO is an excellent leader. He gives excellent feedback, has a cool head, cares about employee satisfaction, understands the market, and works as hard as anyone else in the Company. I cannot recommend a suggestion for improvement.
Our CEO is our biggest cheerleader! He founded the company, so we all have a strong sense of loyalty and pride working for him.
How's the work life balance at Realvolve?
It's great. I've never felt like I've been asked to go beyond what I'm capable or comfortable with.
Very balanced. Never asked to do anything my superior would not do. Frankly, my superior has consistently worked harder than I have. Has always been very conscious of my time.
The best I've ever experienced! No joke. I've never worked for a company that emphasizes the need for a healthy work life balance as much as Realvolve does.

Yes, we have several people and teams that work remotely.
Not really. We have locations in Denver, Philly and Bolivar, but everybody works from the office... With the exception of an occasional work-from-home day.
