    How to turn on Automatic Line Item Extraction

    Automatic Line Item Extraction can be turned on for each of your suppliers. You can do this from:

    1. The Suppliers page Account Development Consultant

    2. A suppliers profile in the Suppliers page

    3. In the Set Supplier Rules window in the Item Details page.

    Afteryou'veturned it on, every future document issued from that supplier will be sent for Automatic Line Item Extraction. Find the line items listed in the Item Details page.

    What kind ofdocuments can be extracted?Receipt Bank can extract Line Items from the following types of Costs documents:

    Invoice

    Receipt

    Credit Note

    Delivery Note

    Receipt Bank cannot extract Line Items from Statement/Remittance advice or Sales Invoices. In these cases, well extract the document normally without Line Item Extraction. You can find the item in the Inbox with a note saying that the item type is not supported. Youwon'tbe charged for this.

    What happens during extraction?Receipt Bank will flag all documents from that specific supplier and add them to a Line Item Extraction queue. After weve read and extracted all of the data from the document, you can find it in the Inbox of the Costs workspace. Receipt Bank extract the following information from each line on the document:

    description

    total value

    tax value (but not tax codes or tax rates)

    If parts of the document were blurry or unreadable we may leave some fields blank.

    Where can I find details of the Line Items?Look at the bottom of the Item Details page to find your extracted line items. Edit any of the information from there.

    Who can turn on Line Item Extraction?Any administrator on the account can activate Line Item Extraction. This could be an employee in the business, or an accountant or bookkeeper who has access to the businesss Receipt Bank account.

    Does Automatic Line Item Extraction cost extra?Automatic Line Item Extraction is a paid feature and incurs an additional charge for each document thats processed. Speak to your for details on pricing. You can see how many documents have been sent through Automatic Line Item Extraction in the usage page of your account.

  • Receipt Bank offer a branded Visa Credit Card. You can use this to make purchases with any merchant that accepts Visa, to make withdrawals from cash machines, or to record your transactions directly to your integrated Xero account.

    The Receipt Bank Visa is provided through our partners Capital on Tap. Capital on Tap are responsible for all card operations, including the application, processing of cards and repayments.     FAQ:

    Who is this card for?

    The card is available for any business registered in the UK, where all business owners are UK residents. Limited companies and Limited Partnerships registered with Companies House and sole traders and partnerships can be eligible to receive the card.

    The initial application for the card must be made by a director of the business. Consumers and individuals cannot apply. Due to possible risks of fraud, charities and trusts cannot apply.

    Do I need a Receipt Bank account to apply?

    No, any business can apply for this card

    How much does it cost to sign-up?

    There are no activation, monthly or yearly fees attached to your Capital on Tap account. You can choose to upgrade to a Premium account which offers 0.5% cashback on all card purchases. This is free for the first year, and then costs 99 for each year after.

    Note:0.5%cashback only applies to Credit accounts.

    Where can I use my card?

    You can use your card to make purchases at any merchant worldwide that accepts Visa. You can also use your card to make withdrawals from cash machines (subject to a maximum of 400 every 24 hours).

    Can I have multiple cards on my account?

    As a Receipt Bank customer you can have an unlimited amount of cards. Each card does not have its own credit limit: all cards are subject to the total credit limit on the account. For example; if you have 4000 credit limit and spend 500 on one card, there will only be 3500 available for use by the other cards.

    Note: Additional cardholders can be added after the initial application has been completed by a director.

    What features does this card have?

    Use your Capital on Tap portal to set limits on each of your cards, or to freeze/unfreeze individual cards. Read below to find out more about the Receipt Bank Visa & Xero integration.

    How can I link my card to Xero?

    Log on to your Capital on Tap portal and follow these steps:

    Log into your online portal

    Go to the Connections tab

    Click on connect next to the Xero icon

    You will be redirected to login to your Xero account

    Select the business you wish to connect to

    You will be redirected back to the Connections page which will now show Xero as ConnectedIf connecting from your Xero account you can search for the Capital on Tap bank feed and set it up that way.

    How often will Capital on Tap post my transactions to Xero?

    Once your connection is set up, Capital on Tap will post all of your completed financial activity in Xero every 6 hours. This will include all financial activity (i.e. bank withdrawals, ATM withdrawals, interest charges, card payments, chargebacks, refunds and reward redemptions).

    What are the costs for the Xero integration?

    There are no charges for this integration. Please note the card holder needs to have an active account with Xero.

    Does Capital on Tap integrate with other General Ledgers?

    No, at the moment Capital on Tap only integrates with Xero.

  • Any documents on Receipt Bank can be downloaded as a CSV or PDF file, so you can easily share, store or upload your financial data to an Accounting Software.

    To download document data in a CSV format:

    Log in to your Receipt Bank account.

    Select the files you want to download using the checkboxes down the left-hand side of the page

    Click 'Export'

    A window will open. Use it to choose how you'd like your CSV file to be formatted, and if you'd like exported items to be sent to the Archive on Receipt Bank.

  • Transactions that you publish from Receipt Bank to QuickBooks Online Simple Start will be sent to the 'Expenses' section of QBO.

    In order for a transaction to successfully published, you need to complete two pieces of information on the Item Details page of the item in Receipt Bank:

    Category

    Payment Method* (which is linked to a Bank Account )

    After you've completed these two fields of data, set a 'Publish to' destination and press the 'Publish' button.

    Cash and Credit Card transactions will be published to the Expenses section of QBO as an Expense.Check transactions will be published to the Expenses section of QBO as a Check.

  • The Item Details page presents an in-depth view of all the data associated with a submitted document.

    You can access the Item Details page for a specific item by pressing the blue hyperlink in the Type column of the Client Inbox or Archive. subscription The Receipt Details page consists of the document image and the associated details, history and messages associated with the document to the right. You can click on any detail to change it. Any changes you make will be saved automatically and immediately.

    For Business Plus, Premium, Streamline & Optimize products only: Line Items, Smart Split and Supplier Rules are also available from this screen.Find out more about the different Receipt Bank products here.

    Next to the Item details tab are the Advanced and Messages tabs. These are used for the following:

    Advanced: see any notes and a detailed history of who submitted this document and all the changes that have been made to it its associated data in Receipt Bank

    Messages: see the messages between you and the client relating to this item [Only available to Optimize account owners or those who have purchased the Targeted communication package]

    The document image can also be manipulated using the buttons at the bottom of the picture. These allow you to [from left to right]:

    In the top right of the page you can Report a mistake for the item, if you find something incorrect in the extraction process (i.e. total amount, supplier name, etc.)

  • There are three different camera modes on the Receipt Bank Mobile App. This means that you can capture single, multiple, or multi-page documents easily.

    You can change the camera mode by swiping left & right while on the camera screen of the mobile app.

    The three camera modes available are:

    Single ModeTake a picture and submit a single document

    Multi ModeEach picture will be uploaded as a separate document

    Combine ModeTake multiple pictures to capture one document that spreads over 2 - 30 pages.

    A window titled 'Can we help?' will open. Click 'I'm happy with Receipt Bank but...' and either of the two options that open below. Here you are cancelling your Receipt Bank subscription with current billing details, so that you cancanre-open your account with your new details. This will not lead to any loss of data in your account.

    Click 'Modify' in the 'Current Subscription' option. Click 'Pay Now' and enter your new billing details. You will not be charged anything outside of the normal payment of your plan.

  • Published items in Receipt Bank can be sent different areas of Xero and as different types of item.

    For items in the Costs workspace they are published by default to the 'Purchases' area in Xero. They are also able to be published to the 'Classic Expense Claims' and 'Bank Accounts' areas in Xero by changing the integration settings in Receipt Bank:

    Archive

    Before publishing items in the Costs workspace to Xero you are also able to change what type of item it will appear as in Xero. By changing the integration settings in Receipt Bank you can select 'Draft' 'Awaiting Approval, 'Awaiting Payment', and' Paid' (where possible):

    For items such as sales invoices in the Salesworkspace they are published by default to the 'Sales' area in Xero. They are also able to be published to the 'Bank Accounts' area in Xero by changing the integration settings in Receipt Bank:

    Before publishing items in the Salesworkspace to Xero you are also able to change what type of item it will appear as in Xero. By changing the integration settings in Receipt Bank you can select 'Draft' 'Awaiting Approval, and 'Awaiting Payment':

    Rather than manually copying each line of your clients Bank Statements into their accounting software, you can use Receipt Bank to automatically extract Bank Statement data and present it in a spreadsheet or .CSV download format.

    How to Submit Bank Statements for Processing:

    1.Make sure that you've set up a Bank Account for the statement that you want to upload

    2.Click 'Add Items' and select 'Add Bank Statements'.

    3.Select your files by clicking on the Click here to select files button or drag-and-dropping your file onto the green platform.

    The file should not contain statement images captured with a camera. Scans or original digital copies only.

    The file should not be made out of data from multiple sources (e.g. half the pages are scans of postal copies and half are online downloads. Or the pattern of data is not consistent).

    The statement should not have an excessive amount of handwriting in the numerical columns. Ticks and infrequent annotations are generally accepted.

    4.Onceyou'veuploaded a Bank Statement, it will be available to view in the Collected Statements tab of the Bank page. Uploaded Bank Statements are automatically added to the processing queue, during which all of the associated Bank Statement data will be extracted. This process can take up to 2 working days to complete.

    How to Download Bank Statement Data:

    1. When uploaded Bank Statements have finished the extraction process, they will be moved to the Processed tab of the Bank page.

    2. You can download the Bank Statement data by pressing the Download button. You can download the original bank statement that was uploaded to Receipt Bank by clicking the hyperlink in the Item ID column.

    NOTE: You can choose the download format for Bank Statements by navigating to the General tab of the Account Settings and choosing between the three available formats:

    Standard Receipt Bank Excel: Default .xlsx file with all extracted data

    Xero CSV: File format optimised for upload into Xero

    QuickBooks Online CSV: File format optimised for upload into Quickbooks Online

    Sage 50 UK CSV:File format optimised for uploading to Sage 50 (UK Only)

    NOTE:If you notice errors in the data extraction of a bank statement, click 'Report Mistake'. This will resubmit the bank statement for extraction.

    Advanced Search has been moved to theFilters in each workspace.

    Integrations andFetch connections have been moved to theConnections section in the sidebar.

    If you are unable to find what you are looking for, you can switch back to the old layout so that you can continue your work in Receipt Bank.

    How to switch between the New and Old Layouts

    Access the new layout by clicking the Switch to New Layout buttonin the top-right corner of the screen:

  • Boost is a tool used to speed up the processing of all submitted items currently in the 'In Processing' section of the Receipt Bank inbox.

    When paperwork is uploaded to Receipt Bank, it's added to a processing queue. Processing can vary in time, according to the amount of items that have been uploaded to Receipt Bank.

    Speed up the processing time by pressing the 'Boost my items' button in the 'In Processing' tab. This will move all items currently processing in this account to the top of the processing queue. Each of the items will be extracted within a few minutes.

    Note:Boost is included in Streamline and Optimize Partner Accounts, Premium Direct accounts and available as an add-on for Extract Partner Accounts.Find out more about the different Receipt Bank products here.

  • If you regularly receive receipts or invoices from suppliers through email, consider setting these emails to automatically forward to Receipt Bank. This will save you from having to process the document at all!

    The method of setting up email-forwarding might look slightly different depending on which email provider you use. Some guides to popular email providers are linked below:

    Apple Mail If you use a different email provider, check their help guides for more information on setting up email-forwarding rules.

  • If the same receipt or invoices is uploaded more than once, Receipt Bank will automatically detect and merge the duplicated items.

    Bills and Receipts will be merged if the supplier, date, total amount and submitter are the same.

    Invoices andCredit Noteswill be merged if the supplier, total amount and reference number are the same.

    Receipt Bank will indicate merged items with a note.

    Use the unmerge tool to split merged items back into separate entries on Receipt Bank.

  • Use the To Review and Ready sections of your Inbox to mark which transactionsyou'vefinished editing, and which ones need more review.

    After you start uploading receipts, bills and other financial documents to your Receipt Bank account, youll see thatthey'resorted into two sections: To Review and Ready.

    Use these sections to organise your Inbox, and to more easily see which documents need editing and which documents are ready to export.

    CSV

    After a document had been uploaded to Receipt Bank, itll be displayed in the Inbox with a default status of To Review.

    Onceyou'veedited the document and are happy to export it, click Move to Ready. You can do this for a single item in the Item Detail page, or for a lot of items using the check-boxes in the Inbox page.

    Now, when youre ready to export your data as a PDF or file, use the 'Ready' tab to quickly find all of the itemsyou'vefinished editing and export them all at once.

  • You can create additional users on your Receipt Bank account. Each user will have the ability to submit, view and edit paperwork with Receipt Bank

    You can add a new user by:

    Clicking on Account Settings menu

    Clicking into the Maintain Users tab

    Clicking Add a new user

    Completing the details for the person you want to invite to Receipt Bank.

    Choose whether to send an invitation to the new user

    Choose what level of User Privilege the user should have

    Click Create. The new user will be added to the account.

    If you're using one of Receipt Bank's products made for Accountants and Bookkeepers, you can add two different types of users:

    Partner account users

    Client account users

    Partner account users will be able to view and manage specific client accounts. They can be added by accessing the 'Account Settings'>'Maintain Colleagues' section of your account, and clicking 'add new colleague'. Quickly identify that you're adding someone to your partner account by looking at the blue background of the webpage.

    Client account users will only be able to view and manage their own account. They can be added by accessing the specific client inbox, and then clicking into the 'Account Settings'>'Maintain Users' section of that account. Quickly identify that you're adding someone to a client account by looking at the orange background of the webpage and the name of the business in the top-left corner.

  • The Inbox of your account is sorted into two sections:

    To Review

    Ready

    Publish

    Ready means that all of the required information has been completed and this item is ready to be published or export as a CSV or PDF.

    To Review means that the document is missing some information (usually the 'Category' field), which you will need to complete before the item can be published or exported as a CSV or PDF.

    Hover your mouse over a Not Ready icon to learn what details you need to add to publish the item.

    You can move an item from To Review to Ready in two ways: If your account is integrated : Complete the category field. The document will automatically move to Ready, and the button will appear. If your account is not integrated: From the To Review section of your inbox, select each of the itemsyou'vefinished editing and click Move to Ready. Its a good way to keep track of the items thatyou'veworked on and to indicate the transactions that are ready to export.

    The new report will be available to view, edit and publish from the 'Expense Reports' section of the account. Any items that have been added to an Expense Report will be available to view from inside the report, or from the Archive.

    You can add additional transactions to an Expense Report by selecting the items, clicking 'Add to Existing Report' and choosing the report.

    Expense Reports provide a space to collate an individual's reimbursable payments.

    Create an Expense Report from the Receipt Bank Costs Workspace:

    Select the item(s) you want to add to your new expense report using the checkboxes down the left-hand side of the page.

    Click the Add to expense reportbutton in the toolbar.

    Readymeans that all of the required information has been completed and this item is ready to be published or export as a CSV or PDF.

    To Reviewmeans that the document is missing some information (usually the 'Category' field), which you will need to complete before the item can be published or exported as a CSV or PDF.

    The Archive is where your items are kept after they have been published or manually archived.

    The columns in each section indicate the following:

    User Field: Indicates which Client User submitted the item.

    Type Field: Indicates the Type of document has been submitted. (E.G: Invoice, Receipt, Credit Note). Clicking on the Type field for a single item will navigate you to the Receipt Details page, which provides a more in-depth view of the item.

    Date Field: Indicates the date that the document was issued. If Receipt Bank cannot detect a date on the document image, it will use the date that the item was submitted instead.

    Supplier Field: Indicates the supplier who issued the document.

    Total Field: Indicates the currency and total value of the item, including the tax amount.

    Tax Field: Indicates the tax amount of the item.

    'Payment Field': Indicates the method of payment.

    'Match Field': Indicates whether a Bank Match or a Paperwork Match is present.

    Category Field: Indicates which section of your Chart of Accounts this item will be recorded under. You can quickly edit this using the dropdown menu in each row.

    Note Field: Receipt Bank will leave Notes next to items that require attention. These will let you know important information about an item that may not be immediately visible. (E.G: duplicate items that have been submitted and automatically merged).

    Status Field: This indicates whether an item has; been viewed, is ready to be published, or has been edited.

    You can click on each of these fields to organise your inbox according to their criteria.

    The Partner Dashboard is a section of Receipt Bank where Accountants & Bookkeepers can take a holistic view of each of the Client Accounts that they have on Receipt Bank.

    Applying the correct nominal code to your purchases and expenses is an essential part of accounting. Receipt Bank makes it easy to set up your Chart of Accounts, whether youre working with a cloud or desktop accounting solution.

    In Receipt Bank, we refer to each section of your Chart of Accounts as 'Categories'. You can set them up differently depending on if you're using Receipt Bank with an integrated accounting software.

    When you integrate a Receipt Bank account with cloud accounting software, well automatically pull across your Chart of Accounts. View your full list of categories by navigating to Account Settings> Maintain Lists> Categories

    Any edits you make to your Chart of Accounts within your accounting package will also take affect within Receipt Bank. We check and renew your Chart of Accounts every 24 hours, but you can also manually update these lists by pressing 'Reload List' withinAccount Settings> Maintain Lists> Categories.

    If you don't want a certain nominal code to be available to view or assign to transactions, you can hide specific Categories by turning the toggle in the Visible column to OFF.

    Your Customer List is used to record the people who have previously purchased from your business.

    When you upload a Sales Invoice, Receipt Bank will check your Customer List to find the customer whos named on the document. If wecan'tfind an existing customer from your list, the Customer field of the Sales Invoice will be left blank.

    View your Customer List by clicking into the Account Settings page and then clicking on Maintain Lists and Customers.

    My account is not integrated with any software

    Depending on whether youre using Receipt Bank alongside another accounting software, the customer list can populate and update differently:

    Receipt Bank automatically imports and updates your existing Customer List from your integration. When you publish new customers from Receipt Bank, theyll be created in your integrated software.

Add new customers in the integrated software and theyll be updated in Receipt Bank when data is next synced between the two platforms.     Creating a Client Account will add a dedicated space to receive review and manage the financial documentation for one of your clients' businesses.

    To create a client account:

    Log in to your Receipt Bank account.

    Click the 'Add Client' button

    Email-in Submission method

    Fill in the following details:

    Account Name: the name of your clients business

    Base Currency: the currency that your client typically works with

    Account Country: the country that your clients business is based in

    First Name: the first name of the Receipt Bank account owner for your clients business

    Last Name: the surname of the Receipt Bank account owner for your clients business

    Email: The email address your client should use to log in to Receipt Bank and receive their account information.

    Password: Enter a password for the user to log in with. They will be prompted to change this the first time that they log in.

    Mobile Number: The mobile number for your client. We will only ever use this to send an SMS invitation to use the Receipt Bank app.

    Notify via Email: choose whether to send an email to the client inviting them to use Receipt Bank

    Notify via SMS: choose whether to send a text message to the client inviting them to use the Receipt Bank mobile app

    Email-in Address: Specify the email address that the client can use with the Email-in Submission method.

    Onceyou'vefilled in all of the required details, scroll to the bottom of the menu and press Next.

    Ifyou'vealready set up your colleagues as users on your Receipt Bank Partner Account, you can now select which people will be given access to view, edit and manage the client account.

    Click "Create". Your client will now be added to your Partner Dashboard.

    There are many ways you can submit documents to Receipt Bank

    First, access the workspace you are submitting to by selecting it on the sidebar menuthen click the green Add button in the top-right of the screen.

    Accounts payable receipts, bills, and invoices are submitted to the Costs workspace, while sales invoices are submitted to the Sales workspace, and bank statements are submitted to the Bank workspace.

    For the Costs workspace the following submission methods are available:

    Direct Upload : Upload files from your computer

    Email-in : Email digital documents to a personal Email-in Address to submit items to Receipt Bank

    Mobile App : Take pictures on the Receipt Bank iOS or Android Mobile App and submit documents directly to the inbox

    The Account Settings page is used to tailor the way your Receipt Bank account works, and how it handles documents wheneverthey'resubmitted, downloaded or published to an integrated accounting software.

    You can access the Account Settings by clicking the Account Settings button in the top-right of the screen.

    The Account Settings page is split into multiple tabs. You can navigate between these using the grey taskbar to the left of the page. The available tabs are:

    General Set the default rules for your items from within this tab. This includes Payment Status, Due Dates, Categorisation and Archiving.

    Integration Link your Receipt Bank account to Cloud Accounting Software here. This also allows you to alter publishing location, tax settings and auto-publish. [Only available on Receipt Bank Business Plus, Streamline, Streamline and Optimize. On Receipt Bank Business and Extract, Integrations are controlled from the General tab. Find out more about the different Receipt Bank products ].

    Account details Change the basic details of your account here. This includes account country, base currency, language and mobile permissions. You will also find a Subscription tab where you can alter your billing & payment details.

    Maintain lists Change the details associated with your Categories, Projects, Clients and payment methods

    Maintain users Add, suspend or alter the details of all users on the Client Account here. Click Add a new user to create a profile for someone to access the Client Account. Click Manage to change the details associated with an existing client account, including user privilege, email subscription, or update a password.

    Submission History This displays a list of the items that have been previously submitted, the user who submitted them, and the submission method that was used.

    New Layout:

    The Account Settings are now found in the Left Navigation panel and can be found under the Manage menu. This is where you can make changes to your Connections, My Profile, My Team and My Clients. These settings areused to tailor the way your Receipt Bank account works, help you manage your team and your clients, create connections with other accounting software and data sources that feed directly into your workspaces.

    Note: The specific options contained within the menus are dependent on the account type and the integrated accounting platform

    The Connections Menu is split into multiple sub-sections. This is where you can integrate your Cloud Accounting software and create connections that feed into your Costs and Bank workspaces.

    Integration Link your Receipt Bank account to Cloud Accounting Software here. This also allows you to alter publishing location, tax settings and auto-publish.

    Costs Create and edit connections with Invoice Fetch, DropBox, Paypal, and Tripcatcher (UK Only).

    Bank Data Create and edit connections with Bank Fetch and Bank Feeds.

    The My Profile menu is where you can change and view all the settings for your own account, including how Receipt Bank is set up, your account details, and your submission history.

    System Settings Set up how your documents are identified, add due dates for invoices, edit categories, and manage how your items are archived and downloaded.

    My Details Update your contact information, change your password or add two-factor authentication. Customise your unique email address, change your email notification settings, and enable practice view.

    Account Details Set your base currency, language, country, and select your Extract Tax setting. Also in this sub-section is where you can enable item messaging, image sharing, and add your own logo to display when your clients are using the mobile app.

    Subscription View and modify your current subscription plan, update your billing details, see your current payment status, payment history, usage of Bank Statement Extraction and accelerated extractions with Boost.

    The My Teammenu is where you can manage your colleagues using Receipt Bank. Add new colleagues, update current colleagues access to client accounts, and update their user details.

    The My Clientsmenu is where you can manage your clients. Edit Receipt Bank settings and access for your clients, look at the submission history, and add or suspend clients.

    After you've published or downloaded items, or added them to an expense report, they'll be moved to the 'Archive'. This is where we permanently store your processed documents.

    Access the Archive by pressing the Archive button on the orange banner of the Costs or Sales page.

    If youd like to move an item back to the Inbox, select the item using the checkboxes down the left-hand side of the page and click Unarchive. Youll be asked if you want to clear the publishing data for the item. Youll need to clear the publishing data if you plan on republishing the item to your Integrated Accounting Software.

    If you wish to export archived items, select the item(s) using the check box on the left of each item and then click download - You can download your items as a spreadsheet or PDF file.

    You can use the Archive tab to store all of your documentation. Theyll be stored for 10 years and searchable using the filter and search features.

    The Suppliers page lists all of the businesses thatyou'vepreviously purchased from.

    You can access the Suppliers page by pressing the Suppliers button on the white toolbar.

    Smart Split

    If you submit a receipt or invoice from a new supplier, theyll be added to your Supplier list.

    Suppliers are also imported from your integrated accounting software. Press the Reload button to perform an immediate check for recently added or deleted suppliers.

    To Merge Suppliers

    From the Suppliers page, use selection checkboxes and Merge buttons to combine or delete vendors from your list.

    Click the name of the Supplier, and youll access the Supplier Rules menu. Here, you can set Autopublish, Supplier Rules or Smart Split actions for this supplier. This will create automated behaviours for whenever a document from this supplier is submitted to Receipt Bank.

    Note: this functionality is only available for Business Plus and Premium Receipt Bank Accounts, or Streamline and Optimize partner accounts. Find out more about the different Receipt Bank products here.

    You can access the Suppliers page by pressing the Suppliers button on the left navigation toolbar under the Lists heading.

    If you submit a receipt or invoice from a new supplier, theyll be added to your Supplier list.

    Suppliers are also imported from your integrated accounting software. Press the Reload button to perform an immediate check for recently added or deleted suppliers.

    To Merge Suppliers

    From the Suppliers page, use selection checkboxes and click the Merge button at the top of the page to combine or delete vendors from your list.

    Click the name of the Supplier, and youll access the Supplier Rulessub-section. Here, you can set Autopublish, Supplier Rules or actions for this supplier. This will create automated behaviours for whenever a document from this supplier is submitted to Receipt Bank.

    If your Receipt Bank account is integrated with an Accounting Software, we'll check every 24h for any updated information in the Accounting Software and sync these to Receipt Bank.

    However, you might like to speed up this process, especially after creating new categories or adding new clients to your chart of accounts. Follow the below instructions to trigger an immediate sync.

    Navigate to the 'Account Settings' page

    Click on the 'Maintain Lists' tab (or 'Categories' tab, if you're using Receipt Bank Extract)

    Click 'Reload all lists' in the top-right of the page.

    Wait a few moments, your categories will be synced.

    Note: for Business Plus, Premium, Streamline and Optimize accounts, the 'Reload all Lists' button will also resync the Payment Methods, Customers and Projects Lists. Find out more about the different Receipt Bank products here.

    Click the green Reload list button

    Wait a few moments, and your categories will be synced.
